The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident in Scranton at approximately 8:44 a.m. Saturday. Thirty-five-year-old Crystal Jordan of Churdan was westbound on Chicago Street in a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. Thirty-seven-year-old Lisa Owens of Scranton was southbound on Main Street in a 2013 Ford F-150. Jordan entered the intersection, striking the truck. No one was injured and there was an estimated $8,000 in damage to the Equinox and about $3,000 in damage done to the Ford F-150. Jordan was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
