The 2020 Kuemper Ball kick-off and theme announcement of The Roaring Twenties was made this past Wednesday, and the co-chairs have hit the ground running on their first scheduled fundraiser. They have decided to bring back a highly popular entertainment draw, The Dueling Pianos of Andy Anderson and Mike Leeds. One of the co-chairs, Jeremy Schechinger, says they are really excited to organize such a fun night.
The Saturday, Feb. 29 performance will be held at the Templeton Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with entertainment beginning at 7 p.m. They will also be holding a live auction at about 8 p.m. Schechinger and Onica Ulveling, say they have some really creative auction items so far this year.
There are a limited number of tickets and they are on sale now. Ulveling says they have different price points and options for those interested in attending.
An entire table of eight at the tier one level is $600, tier two tables are $500 and tier three/general are $400 per table or $50 per person. A light meal will be catered by Baratta’s Steakhouse and there will be a cash bar. The Kuemper Ball co-chairs say the benefits of the funds raised goes beyond the brick and mortar.
The popular vehicle, ag and general raffle tickets will be available during the event. The cost for the vehicle raffle is $100 each. The winner will get a $20,000 voucher to use at any of their six dealer sponsors. The ag tickets are $50 each for a $10,000 voucher at any of their three dealer sponsors. General raffle tickets are $15 each and have a guaranteed prize value of $150. Dueling Pianos or raffle tickets are available through any of the ball co-chairs, listed below, at the Kuemper Alumni Office or from Cindy Lawler at Kuemper through the phone number included here as well.
