WIN Announces Construction Of New Facility On West End Of Carroll

Western Iowa Networks (WIN) is moving forward with plans to build a new facility on Kittyhawk Avenue and Market Street on the west side of Carroll, just east of Walmart. Over the past year, the plans were developed in a collaboration between WIN’s management and FEH Design, the project was put out to bid and a contract awarded in April. The new facility will be home to WIN’s retail offerings as well as their internet, television, phone and US cellular services and their IT and plant departments. Their headquarters will remain in Breda and the Denison operation will remain unchanged. “Our current retail store and shop has served us well, says CEO Jeff Roiland, but we have since outgrown these facilities and combining both locations into one will help us be much more efficient as a company.” The estimated 37,000 square-foot facility will be split in half for office and retail and garage and warehouse space. “This facility will provide room for growth as WIN continues to grow and expand its fiber footprint serving Western Iowa with gigabit broadband speeds along with digital TV, voice and managed IT services,” says Breda Telephone Corporation Board President, Mary Wittry. Construction is expected to begin this month.
