New Iowa State Head Tennis Coach Jaron Maestas visits with John Walters. Maestas spent the last two years as the Associate Head Coach at Kansas. He also has had successful head coaching experience at Central Oklahoma. He takes over a Cyclone program which reached the NCAA Elite Eight last season.

 

Iowa State's Faculty Athletics Representative, Tim Day, visits with John Walters. Day is the liaison between the athletic department and the University as a whole. He also oversees Iowa State's compliance efforts.

 

Scott Howard, former Iowa State basketball player and Director of Player Personnel for the NBA champion, Denver Nuggets visits with Mike Green, ISU's Director of Letterwinners Engagement.

 

Joan Gearhart, who started the Iowa State women's golf program from scratch in 1970 and coached the Cyclones to 23 tournament titles, visits with Mike Green, Director of the Letterwinners Club. This September Gearhart will be inducted into the ISU Athletics Hall of Fame.

 

Iowa State's new gymnastics coach, Ashley Miles Greig, visits with John Walters. Ashley was a four-time national champion in a brilliant career at Alabama. In 2006, she won the Honda Award as the nation's top gymnast. And she couldn't be more excited to take over the Iowa State program.

 

John Walters visits with Hercle Ivy, one of the great scorers in Iowa State basketball history. Ivy will be inducted into the Iowa State Athletics Hall of Fame in September.
